Vista Global Announces Acquisition Of Apollo Jets

By Adrienne Faurote March 4, 2021

Vista Global, the world’s largest on-demand private aviation group, is expanding even further as it just cemented a deal taking over Apollo Jets, a premier private jet company. This is Vista’s fourth acquisition in the past few years following Red Wing Aviation in 2020, JetSmarter in 2019, and XOJET in 2018.

Vista Global is headquartered in Dubai and integrates a unique portfolio of companies offering asset-free services to cover all key aspects of business aviation: guaranteed and On-Demand global flight coverage; aircraft leasing and finance; and cutting-edge aviation technology. Since its founding in 2018, Vista Global has nearly doubled its revenue and has a network of over 20 offices across the U.S., Middle East, Europe, and Asia.

Apollo Jets, a private jet company with over 4,000 clients, will be absorbed into Vista’s digital brand, XO. XO will now offer full aircraft management services to existing members and can support individual aircraft owners now through their management partnership with Talon Air. Vista can help members with their aircraft maintenance and overhaul needs, as well as have Talon’s air fleet at their client’s disposal. However, XO Global LLC is not a direct air carrier and does not operate flights and all air transportation will be undertaken by properly licensed carriers.

Thomas Flohr, Vista Global’s Founder and Chairman said: “The Apollo acquisition reinforces Vista Global’s unrivaled commitment to providing every business aviation client with the best value flying solutions around the world. I believe this is just the beginning of consolidation in our industry and Vista Global is leading this market transformation. We are excited to add the strongest independent team of client executives to our leading global infrastructure, to offer more and more clients the opportunity to access Vista Global’s worldwide flying solutions. Just as at Vista Global, Apollo’s company culture is centered around best-in-class client service through its extraordinary team, renowned personal trust, and committed 24/7 availability. It is a hugely exciting time for Vista Global — this acquisition expands our global services to a rapidly growing membership and subscription base, and furthers our promise to new and current clients, anytime, anywhere.”

With Vista’s exclusive clientele and network coupled with Apollo Jets’ established reputation and client list, Vista Global is further strengthening its leading position in the business aviation market.

The Apollo Jets deal is planned to be completed in the first quarter of 2021, barring any complications, in accordance with the Hart Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act.
