Last year was undoubtedly the year of Vacheron Constantin’s Overseas collection, and it became quite obvious toward the latter half of the year. Following the introduction of several new models during the 2023 Watches & Wonders, like the Overseas Moonphase Retrograde Date and the fleet of four Overseas Self-Winding (that I personally haven’t stopped thinking about), Vacheron continued to charge full steam ahead with the launch of the 35mm Self-Winding Overseas which launched in Iceland alongside Zaria Forman’s stunning campaign in September, ending the year with the new Tourbillon High Jewelry Overseas timepiece.

A few weeks into 2024, Vacheron is sending another rather clear message: the Overseas phenomenon is not slowing down. A brief history digression — the Overseas Collection was first introduced in 1996 as Vacheron’s contemporary take on a sportier, yet elegant, collection and launched with three models: a self-winding watch, a chronograph, and a ladies’ model. Over the last 28 years, Vacheron has continued to update and modernize the collection and today, Vacheron once again has evolved the collection with the introduction of the new 33mm Overseas Quartz model, Reference 1225V/200R-H015.

The new Overseas Quartz timepiece is crafted in pink gold with a striking denim-blue dial with the bezel adorned with an array of 78 brilliant-cut diamonds. In fact, this is the first Overseas quartz 33 mm in pink gold with an integrated bracelet. The watch also boasts versatility as it comes with three separate interchangeable bracelets — a fully integrated bracelet in 18K 5N pink gold, a calf leather strap, and another in denim blue rubber. Inside, the timepiece is powered by the Calibre 1207 quartz movement, this watch ensures accuracy and reliability.

As the latest timepiece in the Overseas family, Reference 1225V/200R-H015 seamlessly lends itself as the shiny new addition to the beloved collection.
