Yachting and luxury watch collecting are two pursuits that pair together expertly. We’ve seen a number of fruitful partnerships develop between swiss watch manufacturers and professional yachting teams over the years. For the 35th year of America’s Cup. arguably the biggest yachting event of the calendar year, Ulysse Nardin has become an official partner of Sweden’s Artemis Racing. To celebrate this exciting collaboration, the timepiece manufacture is launching an exclusive line of the iconic Marine Diver.

The new limited edition watch was unveiled in Gothenburg, Sweden, host to the America’s Cup World Series, during the preliminary competition held between August 28-30. The piece was designed with the rigors of yachting in mind and features a durable mix of materials including stainless steel and rubber. The watch’s face features an original pattern that artfully displays a number of vessels floating in the deep blue of the dial. Further highlighting the partnership is the Artemis Racing Insignia featured on the case back.

The new diver also boasts exceptional water resistance up to 300 meters, made possible thanks to the screw-locked crown and case-back. It also features a unidirectional rotating bezel, which prevents any accidental adjustment to the dive time.

“Ulysse Nardin’s history of navigating the sea, paired with the DNA of innovation and technology, which is firmly established in both companies, makes this partnership a perfect match,” says Patrik Hoffmann, CEO of Ulysse Nardin. “When meeting the Artemis engineers, technicians, and craftsmen at their base in San Francisco, I quickly realized that the spirit of passion and innovation is the driving force behind this extraordinary team.”

The Marine Diver Artemis Racing is available through Ulysse Nardin’s worldwide retail network.
