Last week Haute Time visited the first-ever US boutique of Ulysse Nardin, in Boca Raton, Florida. We got to see a lot of watches during our visit, including the Hourstriker Erotica. Today we’re bringing you a look at another watch we got to play with during that visit; the Blue Toro.

This watch is limited to 99 pieces, and only available at Ulysse Nardin boutiques. The piece we saw was #74/99. The Blue Toro is a perpetual calendar with dual time function powered by an in-house movement. The 43mm case is 18K rose gold, with a bezel and pushers in ceramic. It also features a 22K gold rotor, which ensures that the this piece is automatically wound, with a power reserve of 45 hours.

Along with the Freak, this is one of our favorite Ulysse Nardin pieces. When you put the Blue Toro on your wrist, you can really appreciate how sophisticated, and – even better – unique, this watch really is.

The Blue Toro is the only perpetual calendar that adjusts forward and backward in seconds over the quick corrector position of a single crown. It’ll be doing this even in the year 2100!

The Blue Toro has a price tag of over $50,000.
