The Watches Of The 77th Golden Globes Awards

It was an epic night again in Hollywood, as the 77th edition of the Golden Globes took place. The show was hosted once again by British comedian Ricky Gervais, and proved to be a big night for Quentin Tarantino, as his ‘Once Upon a Time….in Hollywood’ took home the awards for best musical or comedy, supporting actor and screenplay.

Among the winners was also Stellan Skarsgård, who picked up the Golden Globe for ‘Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries or TV film.’ He was awarded for his role as Boris Shcherbina in the HBO miniseries Chernobyl. A great accomplishment as this was his first nomination for a Golden Globe. He was most certainly stylishly dressed for the occasion with on his wrist was a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso.

Nicole Kidman not only made heads turn with the fabulous red dress that she was wearing, but also with the vintage Omega that was around her wrist. She wore a Sapphette watch from 1957 in yellow gold, on an exquisite yellow gold cable bracelet. Chris Evans and Nicholas Braun each have their own unique style, but they were united in watches during the Golden Globe awards, both wearing an Omega De Ville Tresor Master Co-Axial Chronometer.

Daniel Craig was also attending the 77th edition of the Golden Globes, dressed in a classic double-breasted tuxedo. While he most certainly looked the part, he was not wearing the same watch as James Bond, the role in which he will star again later this year. Craig opted for an Omega Speedmaster for this event, with a gold case and bracelet.

Craig was joined at the event by fellow Bond-actor Pierce Brosnan, who brought his wife and two sons. While Brosnan is known to wear Omega as well, he chose a different watch to accompany him at the Golden Globes. On his wrist was a Tank Louis Cartier, one of the watches from this brand in his private collection.

Brosnan wasn’t the only one that evening who opted for this classic watch of Cartier. Rami Malek, who won the Golden Globe for Best Actor last year, attended the event with his girlfriend, Lucy Boynton. He also opted for a classic Tank, which went perfect with his stylish outfit.
