The first Monday in May, better known as the 2024 Met Gala, remains one of the year’s most anticipated fashion events, uniting the world’s top celebrities, designers, and cultural icons at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This year’s theme, “Garden of Time,” complimented the Costume Institute’s exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” inspiring designers to explore the archives and ‘awaken’ iconic looks once believed to be lost to time.
