TAG Heuer Announces Jacob Elordi As New Ambassador With A Special Limited Edition Monaco Timepiece Launch

As the new ambassador, Jacob Elordi will represent the TAG Heuer Monaco, a timepiece that embodies his essence of breaking boundaries and daring to succeed. In fact, prior to this incredible announcement, Elordi had already taken a liking to the TAG Heuer Monaco as he sported one with a black dial, white sub-dials, and black strap at the Academy Awards Ceremony this year. And at the Oscars, he wore the legendary 1971 racing film Le Mans by Steve McQueen. “The TAG Heuer Monaco was an instant design classic when it launched in 1969, and it only gets better with each new iteration – constantly improved, but its iconic looks never altered. There’s no other timepiece that is just as perfect for black-tie galas as it is for high-octane action,” notes Elordi. The partnership is nothing shy of the perfect fit.
“We are incredibly excited to announce Jacob Elordi as an ambassador for the TAG Heuer Monaco,” says TAG Heuer CEO Frédéric Arnault. “He is the stand-out star of a new generation, an artist who is unafraid to take risks, taking roles that challenge both himself and the audience. He is also someone who comes fully formed with his own strong sense of timeless style. The TAG Heuer Monaco became the watch for a new generation when it was first launched in 1969, and there is no better standard-bearer for it as it continues to be discovered anew by each generation since,”
Elordi stands at the helm of the next generation of iconic Hollywood men, and he is continuing his journey alongside the timelessness of the TAG Heuer Monaco. On the heels of this announcement, TAG Heuer also released a new Special Edition of its TAG Heuer Monaco as we head into the Monaco Grand Prix racing weekend.

A historic racing chronograph, the new edition takes inspiration from the Monaco of the 1970s yet catapults into the modern era through innovative materials and incorporating the in-house Heuer 02 movement. This edition marks the first use of black-coated titanium for a Monaco chronograph, and the design is enriched with contrasting rose gold elements woven throughout for the ultimate sophisticated feel.

There’s no doubt that TAG Heuer has an exciting weekend ahead, from celebrating the new TAG Heuer Monaco debut as the race weekend begins in Monaco and the Red Bull Racing team makes their way to the famous city to welcoming Elordi to the TAG Heuer family.
