TAG Heuer Unveils New York City Flagship Boutique On Fifth Avenue With A Star-Studded Affair
It’s been a monster year thus far for LVMH on Fifth Avenue. On the heels of the Tiffany & Co. Landmark opening, TAG Heuer has officially presented the grand opening of its highly-anticipated flagship boutique in the heart of New York City. Located at 645 Fifth Avenue, between 51st and 52nd Street, the new boutique marks a significant milestone for the brand and solidifies its commitment to providing a world-class retail experience for its discerning clientele in the Americas.
The momentous occasion was celebrated with great fanfare, as TAG Heuer CEO Frédéric Arnault presided over the unveiling of the boutique alongside celebrity ambassadors Patrick Dempsey and Alexandra Daddario, accompanied by an exclusive gathering of media, influencers, and friends of the brand.
Situated at the intersection of some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Rockefeller Center, TAG Heuer’s new flagship takes center stage on the prestigious thoroughfare of Fifth Avenue. The new address, boasting a larger footprint and a more prominent location, reflects the brand’s strategic vision for retail expansion within the Americas. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s modern spirit, the boutique’s interior design seamlessly blends sleek modernity with elements that pay homage to TAG Heuer’s rich heritage and its storied history in motorsport. Developed by TAG Heuer’s in-house design and architectural team in Switzerland, the boutique spans an impressive 1,106 square feet. Its tall façade, adorned in striking black with modern metal panels and illuminated branding, captivates the attention of passersby.
Upon stepping inside, visitors are welcomed into a space defined by clean lines, premium materials, and a curated color palette of deep blues that perfectly complement TAG Heuer’s exquisite watch collections. The boutique’s commitment to personalization and customer-centric experiences is evident in the dedicated VIP Lounge, providing a private haven for clients to engage with passionate sales associates and indulge in a tailor-made shopping experience. As a celebration of its 60th anniversary, the boutique prominently features TAG Heuer’s iconic Carrera collection, showcasing the latest novelties that exemplify the brand’s commitment to precision and innovation.
Moreover, the boutique incorporates interactive technology and multimedia displays, offering visitors an immersive journey into the world of TAG Heuer. A freestanding Connected Watch display beckons enthusiasts to explore the universe of the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4, the brand’s latest “smart” collection that continues to redefine luxury connected timepieces since its introduction in 2015.

In celebration of the grand opening, TAG Heuer hosted a glamorous cocktail reception and seated dinner at a hidden penthouse rooftop, just steps away from the new boutique. The star-studded event saw the presence of LVMH leadership, alongside celebrity guests like Dempsey, Daddario, Emmy-Nominated Actor Kieran Culkin, and many more. The soirée also served as an opportunity to unveil the highly anticipated Carrera Skipper, a relaunch of the “holy grail” collector’s piece that has captivated watch enthusiasts since its original release in 1968.
Throughout the evening, guests were treated to artistic installations inspired by the ocean, symbolizing the essence of the Carrera Skipper. A linear installation of nautical rope adorned the architectural interior, leading guests to a rooftop pavilion of blue ombré textiles, where they enjoyed an al-fresco dinner amidst the golden light of the dusk city skyline, accompanied by the enchanting melodies of the “New York Virtuosi” string quartet.
