SIHH 2018: Piaget Takes The Possession Collection To The Next Level!
Introduced by Piaget’s new brand ambassador, supermodel Doutzen Kroes, the brand has taken its famed Possession collection to the next level. It does so by giving it a slightly more polished and smooth, and releasing some exciting new varieties!
The Possession collection is important, as it offers in its steel variety an affordable entry point into the world of Piaget, while the gold, and more elaborate set versions add another layer of luxury and elegance to it. Key to all the models is the smoothly turnable bezel, set with a diamond, which can be used to mark any hour or minute, and is reminiscent of the Possession rings.
The core of the collection is formed by the steel and gold cased versions which are available in a wide variety of different diamond settings on the case. From understated to classical, to being a luxurious Haute Joaillerie watch, the Possession can be all these things. This shows the versatility of the design, which is even increased by the various strap options that Piaget offers. All models feature a silver dial, with diamond set hour markers, and the colored straps add a surprising dash of color, which can easily be matched to mood, clothing, or special occasion!
For those who want even more color, Piaget also introduced the Possession now with semi-precious stone dials. This has long been a specialty of Piaget, and the results are breathtaking. Available in lapis lazuli, carnelian, turquoise or malachite, they also make each watch unique as the stones are a product of nature, each with a texture of its own. This is even amplified by the rose gold cases and framed by a bezel set with brilliant cut, colorless diamonds. Again, the colored straps offer a finishing touch! All Possession models are powered by a manufacture quartz movement, which can be set at the back of the watch, so there is no crown interfering with the elegant design of this contemporary, yet timeless watch!
