Roger Dubuis Fuels Its Need For Speed With Excalibur Essenza SCV12

The partnership between Lamborghini‘s Squadra Corse and Roger Dubuis is a strong one because the DNA of both brands is so similar. When Lamborghini powers up to create its first, limited edition, track-only  hypercar,  Roger Dubuis has no problem keeping the pace with a hyper watch to match.

The Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 is a car, unlike any other. Designed in-house by Lamborghini Centro Stile, this track-only racecar not only showcases formidable looks but also comes with the power to match. A 6.5 liter V12, combined with the new X-trac sequential 6-speed gearbox, puts out 830 horsepower on the rear wheels, making this car a formidable contender. Lamborghini will make only 40 Essenza SCV12’s, which offers a higher downforce level than a current GT3 car, and will feel right at home at the Super Trofeo races for which it was created. Its owners will become part of an ultra-exclusive club as they also have access to special programs allowing them to enjoy their Lamborghini on the most prestigious circuits in the world.

Lamborghini is not the only one who offers one-of-a-kind experiences to their clients. With the ‘Rarities’ program does Roger Dubuis allow its patrons to design their own unique watch. The Excalibur Essenza SCV12 shows what is possible, as it perfectly matches the look and feel of the first Lamborghini Essenza SCV12. The watch is based on the Excalibur Aventador S, which offers increased precision thanks to two spring balances inclined at 45 degrees, connected to a differential. Heavily skeletonized and fitted with an ultra-light carbon case, is this indeed the perfect watch to take racing in the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12, proving once again how seamless the character and nature of both brands match.
