This year marks the 14th annual World Superyacht Awards in association with Oyster Yachts, which took place in London. Recognizing some of the world’s finest luxury yachts in the categories of design, engineering, construction and more, owners, experts and enthusiasts attended the three-day event to witness which yachts would come out on top of an impressive, global list.

Winning in the category of Semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts 40m and Above was Utopia IV, built by Rossinavi and owned by Loren and JR Ridinger, founders of Market America|SHOP.COM. Utopia IV was the best and standout choice in a category that beared six of the most impressive superyachts on the planet.

Coming in at 63 meters—almost 207 feet—Utopia IV was the fastest yacht in its class, with 7,756kW being delivered via four MTUs to four Kamewa water jets, and a top speed of 33-knots. Though this and other elements of its power, such as the four light Rolls-Royce engines and four hydro jets, are incredibly impressive, these were not the only determining factors in Utopia IV’s victory.

Her contemporary lines, superior functionality, elevated amenities and overall sleek, sexy design, played a huge part as well. This includes accommodation for 12 guests across six luxuriously sized cabins; an over-the-top owners’ suite with an almost 20-foot length balcony, floor-to-ceiling windows and 180-degree panoramic views; a swimming pool and sun deck; an expansive outdoor lounge and an incredible beach club at the back of the yacht designed by Enrico Gobbi, which opens directly into the water.

Congratulations to the Rossinavi team and to the Ridingers on this esteemed recognition!
