OPENING 0000
While the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie and Baselworld may be more well-known, the Doha Jewellery and Watch Exhibition has become a new go-to. The fair, which takes place each year in Doha, Qatar, just wrapped up its 11th annual edition.

According to the fair’s organizers, nearly 40,000 visitors attended the show at the Qatar National Convention Centre, breaking last year’s record. The six-day event, which was held under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Qatar and Minister of Interior HE Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, included exhibitions by international manufactures, as well as local brands like Mouawad and the Qatar Luxury Group.

In addition to the more than 500 exhibitions, there were also daily catwalks and celebrity appearances, including a visit by Mercedes AMG F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, who was on hand in Doha to open IWC Schaffhausen’s booth at the fair.
