Ferry Porsche presented the Porsche 356 ‘No. 1’ Roadster to the world in 1948. Today, 75 years later, Porsche is looking back at its history and celebrating the ride with the Chronograph 1 – 75 Years Porsche Edition.
The commemorative watch is limited to 475 pieces. This particular edition of the Chronograph 1 is powered by a Porsche Design caliber, the WERK 01.140. The caliber is COSC certified, guaranteeing maximum precision. The aim is to replicate the precision of Porsche sports cars, which have become icons of the automotive world thanks to their combination of reliability and performance. The Chronograph 1 was handcrafted in the Porsche watch factory in Solothurn, Switzerland.

The Chronograph 1 was the first product developed by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche to mark the foundation of Porsche Design. The watch revolutionized the world of watches in 1972. This commemorative edition of the Chronograph 1 not only looks and feels like the original, but also works like its historical role model, complete with mechanical winding movement.

The back of the chronograph also evokes memories of more than seven decades of iconic sports car design with a winding rotor in the shape of the iconic Fuchsfelge (Fuchs wheel) including a Porsche Crest in color.
The Chronograph 1 – 75 Years Porsche Edition has a specially developed textile/leather strap with light blue stitching and a woven red stripe in the middle – designed in the colors of the logo to mark the 75th anniversary. In addition, the chronograph is available with a black leather strap and matching black stitching. Both straps can be changed in no time thanks to the quick-change system.
