Piaget Adds Brandebourg Motif Pieces to “Couture Précieuse” Collection
Last month during the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, Piaget added to its “Couture Précieuse” collection. In Geneva, Switzerland, the luxury watchmaker showcased its style with delicate new jewelry and watches in the “brandebourg” motif, an ornamental braiding traditionally used in ceremonial costumes. Piaget, which originally mastered the flat knot for its 2008 Paris – New York collection, here used the technique in a highly stylized manner, evoking the couture fashion houses.
