Perhaps the focal point of the Aquis Small Second Date is the inclusion of a small seconds sub-dial located at 9 o’clock. The hand of the sub-dial is coated in Super-LumiNova, ensuring optimal legibility even in low-light conditions, a crucial aspect for divers relying on their timepieces underwater.

Maintaining the renowned dependability of the Aquis Date collection, this timepiece is equipped with a screw-down crown with protection, a uni-directional rotating bezel with a ceramic insert, and the option of a metal bracelet or a blue rubber strap with a stainless steel security folding clasp. The watch’s design draws inspiration from the depths of the ocean, with a captivating deep blue dial, bezel insert, and rubber strap, evoking the allure of underwater exploration.

Powering the Aquis Small Second Date is the Oris 743 automatic movement, which boasts a power reserve of 41 hours and operates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour). The movement includes functions such as center hands for hours, minutes, and seconds, a date display, a fine timing device, and a stop-second feature, adding to the practicality and functionality of the timepiece.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the Aquis Small Second Date features a multi-piece stainless steel case with a ceramic bezel insert, measuring 45.5 mm (1.791 inches) in diameter. The top glass is made of domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside, ensuring excellent readability and durability.
