MB&F And H. Moser Collaborate For Two Stunning New Watches

For MB&F, collaborations are a way of life and an essential part of the brand identity. It is even in the name, as it fully spelled out stands for Maximilian Büsser & Friends. Ever since the beginning, Büsser knew that when you get the best people on board and give them full credit for their contributions, you get an incredible synergy. In the past, this has resulted in breathtaking and highly original watches. He now joins forces with H. Moser in an extraordinary collaboration, which has resulted in two unique watches, sharing the DNA of both.

This collaboration has not materialized out of thin air, as for over a decade, MB&F is being supplied with balance springs from Precision Engineering AG, a sister company of H. Moser. It is also this part that plays an central role in these two new watches. What they essentially did is that MB&F gave a watch from H. Moser a make-over and vice versa. H. Moser took the Legacy Machine 101 and fitted it with its stunning fumé dials, available in four different colors, and their signature Straumann© double hairspring. It results in a watch that is still instantly recognizable as an MB&F but, at the same time, also as an H. Moser.

We see this same strong effect of synergy in the Endeavour Cylindrical Tourbillon which is MB&F’s achievement based on a model by H. Moser. This is also the very first time that one of their watches is fitted with a cylindrical hairspring, as we have already seen in the past with MB&F’s LM Thunderdome. The hairspring is stunning to see in action, as it is so different. This watch also gets a fumé dial, here available in five colors. It gets plenty of room to shine, as it forms the perfect backdrop for the unique tourbillon, as well as the hours and the minutes displayed on the small, 40° vertically tilted sapphire dial at 6 o’clock. Both watches combine in an unprecedented way the DNA of two brands. They are gaining a tremendous amount of synergy in the process, proving the strength of MB&F’s philosophy once more, but most of all, bring to the market two exceptional watches, unlike anything we have seen before.
