Continuing a long-standing tradition of supporting the cinematic and photographic arts, Jaeger Le-Coultre is hosting an original photographic exhibition at its New York flagship boutique on Madison Avenue. The exhibit, entitled “Two Worlds,” promises to capture the elegance, free-spirit and spontaneous personality of actress Sarah Gadon while she wears a Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-Vous watch through New York City.

Gadon, the subject of the exhibit, explains the intimate connection she has with her timepieces, specifically the Jaeger Le-Coultre Rendez-Vous collection. “Each watch becomes a tiny piece of art which you carry with you every day”, Gadon confided after she fell in love with the Rendez-Vous Collection back in September 2013 during the 70th Venice International Film Festival. “Whenever I work with Caitlin, we spend time ahead of the shoot creating and discussing the character at the heart of the shoot. In the spirit of New York we took to the streets to capture the real-time energy of the city” she adds.

“My style is usually very cinematic as I like to tell a story with my subject,” says Caitlin Cronenberg, the photographer behind the exhibit.  “Sarah and I discussed the story and character ahead of time and she acted it perfectly. New York is a very special city and it was important that we showcased it as a character in the story so that Sarah had something to play off of. From the architecture to the way the light hits the buildings, it is a magical place and I am very happy with how we were able to showcase that.”

Two Worlds can be viewed from November 17th – 30th at the Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutique from Monday through Saturday, from 10 am to 6 pm.
