Jaeger-LeCoultre Is Gearing Up For The Reverso’s 90th Anniversary With The Tribute Duoface Fagliano

In 2021, Jaeger-LeCoultre is celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Reverso. This is an event many are looking forward to, as this watch is a true icon. Over the years, it has been available as an ultra-slim two-hander but also housed some of the most complex and innovative movements ever created by Jaeger-LeCoultre. This means that the expectations for the anniversary, which will be celebrated without a doubt with some impressive new models, are high. Jaeger-LeCoultre is already whetting the appetite by launching the Reverso Tribute Duoface Fagliano.

The Duoface is by itself, apart from being a Reverso, a unique watch. It was first launched in 1994, and a true innovation as each side of the timepiece showed a different timezone, powered by the same movement. An added advantage with the Duoface is that, as it has a dial on either side, it seems you own two watches at the same time as each dial can have a character of its own. This is most certainly the case with the Reverso Tribute Duoface Fagliano, which Jaeger-LeCoultre developed together with Casa Fagliano, the renowned Argentinian brand for the world’s finest hand made polo boots.

They opted for a pink gold case for this watch, which goes wonderfully with the rich burgundy color of the dial. The other side, showing the second timezone, is quite different in nature. Here Jaeger-LeCoultre crafted the dial in a silvery grey with a rich Clous de Paris decor. Both dials match perfectly with the two-tone strap, which is designed and hand-made by Casa Fagliano, using the finest cordovan leather and canvas. Being part of the Tribute-collection means that this Reverso has a very slender profile and is only 10.3mm high. It is powered by manual wind caliber 854A/2, crafted in Jaeger-LeCoultre’s manufacture in Le Sentier, Switzerland. This makes the Reverso Tribute Duoface Fagliano a tempting appetizer for things to come. The watch is limited to 190 pieces and only available at the Jaeger-LeCoultre boutiques.
