Introducing The Audemars Piguet Three New Royal Oak Offshore Models
Audemars Piguet has unveiled three new Royal Oak Offshore models, each showcasing a distinct aesthetic and an innovative mix of materials. These novelties, available in 37 and 43 mm, incorporate colored rubber, stainless steel, 18-carat pink gold, and black ceramic. Powered by cutting-edge selfwinding movements, these bold iterations introduce fresh tones of bronze, ivory, and blue to the esteemed collection.
These three models embody the rebellious and daring spirit of the Royal Oak Offshore collection, known for its unconventional use of materials. The new designs feature a powerful aesthetic highlighted by sharp contrasts, such as stainless steel combined with black ceramic and 18-carat gold paired with colored rubber.
The 37 mm Selfwinding Model in Pink Gold
The first selfwinding model, designed for smaller wrists, measures 37 mm and is crafted in 18-carat pink gold. Its gold bezel is coated with grey rubber, reinforcing the sporty identity of the collection. The rhodium and ivory-toned guilloché Grande Tapisserie dial is polished for a radiant effect, complemented by pink gold hour-markers and luminescent trapezoidal hands. The grey inner bezel and mosaic rubber strap complete the look, with an additional black mosaic rubber strap available for enhanced contrast.
The 37 mm Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding reference is powered by Calibre 5900, Audemars Piguet’s latest automatic movement, indicating hours, minutes, seconds, and date. First released in 2022, this 3.9 mm thick movement operates at a high frequency of 4 Hz and offers a 60-hour power reserve.
The 43 mm Selfwinding Model in Stainless Steel
The second Selfwinding model features a 43 mm stainless steel case with a blue rubber-coated bezel and matching strap. The smoked blue Méga Tapisserie dial takes center stage, offering a striking two-tone aesthetic. Rhodium-toned gold hour-markers and Royal Oak hands with luminescent material ensure optimal readability. The AP monogram at 12 o’clock and a blue inner bezel add finishing touches, with an additional black rubber strap provided for styling versatility.
The 43 mm Selfwinding model houses Calibre 4302, a mechanism renowned for its precision and stability. With a generous 32 mm diameter, it improves chronometry and beats at a frequency of 4 Hz, providing a 70-hour power reserve.
The 43 mm Selfwinding Chronograph in Stainless Steel
The third novelty is a 43 mm Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph featuring a stainless steel case with a matching steel bezel, and black ceramic crown and push-pieces. Inspired by Habanos, this model boasts a smoked bronze Méga Tapisserie dial with darkened edges extending to the black inner bezel, where the tachymeter is printed in white. The counters and luminescent trapezoidal hour-markers and hands in blackened gold enhance readability. Paired with a brown alligator strap with an Oxford hand-finished patina, this model also includes an additional black rubber strap.
The 43 mm Selfwinding Chronograph is driven by Calibre 4401, Audemars Piguet’s latest integrated chronograph. Featuring a column wheel with a vertical clutch system, it offers exceptional isochronism and minimizes start-up jumps. This movement combines a jumping hour with a flyback chronograph, enabling swift and seamless measurements.
All three high-performance movements are visible through the sapphire caseback, showcasing the collection’s signature oscillating weight in blackened 22-carat pink gold, along with refined decorations like Côtes de Genève, vertical, circular, and sunray brushing, circular graining, and polished chamfers.
