The highly anticipated fall launch of the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste, introduces the third and final phase of its otherworldly high jewelry collection. Unveiling new masterpieces in four captivating chapters—Owl on a Rock, Phoenix, Unicorn, and Star Burst—the collection pays homage to the legendary creativity of Jean Schlumberger, Tiffany’s most iconic designer. This fall debut will take place at an exclusive high jewelry event in Madrid, Spain, bringing to life the enchantment of Schlumberger’s universe.
Nathalie Verdeille, Chief Artistic Officer of Jewelry and High Jewelry at Tiffany & Co., meticulously reinterprets Schlumberger’s visionary designs through this collection, with each chapter offering a contemporary take on his iconic creations, including the emblematic Bird on a Rock. Verdeille explains, “Each new design is an ode to Jean Schlumberger’s boundless creativity,” blending modern artistry with the designer’s fascination with the mysteries of the universe.
The Owl on a Rock brooches, a modern twist on the classic Bird on a Rock, present the owl perched on a gemstone moon rock. These nocturnal creatures, symbolizing mystery and the spirit world, rest upon dazzling black opals, moonstones, tanzanites, and celestial star sapphires, evoking the magic of the night sky. Each brooch possesses a unique character, crafted to harmonize with the gemstone beneath it.
In a nod to Schlumberger’s celebrated Phoenix brooch, the Phoenix chapter reimagines the mythological bird of rebirth through fiery gemstones. Pieces in this collection feature remarkable fire opals paired with Umba sapphires, as well as rubellites that capture the essence of the phoenix’s flames. A highlight is a stunning necklace adorned with 17 cushion-cut rubellites totaling over 73 carats.
The Unicorn chapter showcases the legendary creature through Schlumberger’s famed Crazy Twist designs. Highlighting diamond-encrusted twists with purple and pink sapphires, this collection’s centerpiece is a magical brooch featuring a bicolor cushion-cut tourmaline of over 25 carats, paying tribute to the unicorn’s striking horn.
Rounding out the fall launch is the Star Burst chapter, which draws inspiration from galaxies with high starburst activity. Designs radiate brilliance, including an exceptional necklace adorned with six oval cabochon crystal opals totaling over 64 carats, accompanied by diamonds.
The fall expression of Tiffany Céleste also welcomes new designs from previously introduced chapters—Apollo, Arrow, Ray of Light, and Shooting Star—all celebrating Schlumberger’s unique interpretations of celestial bodies and fantasy worlds. This final phase of Blue Book 2024 encapsulates Tiffany & Co.’s commitment to artistry, innovation, and the timeless allure of Jean Schlumberger’s imagination.
