Luxury watchmakers Hublot are helping fellow prestige brand Ferrari celebrate their 25th anniversary in the United Arab Emirates with a limited edition new timepiece. The luxury partners gathered at the Al Tayer Ferrari Showroom in Dubai this week to unveil Hublot Big Bang U.A.E. model. More than eighty journalists and two hundred guests attended the unveiling, where pros from the Scuderia Ferrari team showed off their racing skills for the crowd by beating the clock in a pit stop practice under real-world conditions (a first in Dubai). Guests also had the chance to see the Ferrari-stamped U.A.E. watch, which will be produced in a series of just 25, in reference to the automaker’s 25th anniversary in the Middle East.

Giulio Zauner, the Ferrari Director for Middle East, told us, “Exclusivity, technology, passion, style: Hublot and Ferrari share many core values. Today, we are extremely proud to unveil the first Big Bang Ferrari U.A.E. Limited Edition. This is truly a fitting symbol for what unites two such highly prestigious brands because we share the same values: raw passion, a love of perfection and technical precision right down to the smallest detail.”

The U.A.E. model begins with a 45.5mm-diameter case made from satin-finished titanium, with a cylindrical black ceramic bezel embedded with 6 H-shaped embedded screws. The sapphire dial features a white Hublot logo transfer and Ferrari’s iconic Prancing Horse in relief at 9 o’clock. A yellow date window at 3 o’clock features the minute counter, while the hands and indices evoke the counters in the cockpit of a Ferrari. A three hundred component UNICO HUB 1241 automatic flyback chronograph movement is the racing engine at the heart of this timepiece, working at 28,800 vibrations per hour. A constellation reminiscent of Ferrari alloy wheel rims features the column wheel and dual horizontal coupling on the dial’s side. FInally, a black rubber strap and a black schedoni leather strap with red stitching are allow for a quick change system.

Meanwhile Marco Tedeschi, Hublot’s Director for U.A.E, said; “This collaboration, rich in a host of synergies, is a major milestone for Hublot on the road into the future. Ferrari is indeed one of the world’s leading luxury brands and proud to be so cherished in the Middle East. Hublot is honored to be associated and recognized as one of its most strategic partner. This win-win agreement is symbolic of the perfect combination between our two brands, and will undoubtedly be a partnership filled with thrills and passion.”

The Swiss manufacture and the Italian automakers have worked together since 2011, when Hublot became the exclusive watchmaker of Ferrari.
