Hublot Gives Very Tasty Appetizer For Baselworld 2019

For Hublot, Baselworld is their main show, but that doesn’t stop the brand from already giving a little appetizer in January. As a serial innovator, Hublot thrives on pushing the envelope and introducing new novelties, so don’t be surprised that even in this little taste of things to come there are some very serious novelties!

The first one might not be the most exciting, but is commercially very important as Hublot is expanding their Big Bang collection with additional 42mm models. These versions with white details, in either titanium or King gold, are  also available with different diamond settings. Another tour de force by Hublot, as especially titanium is a very challenging material to set stones in.

Another novelty is the Big Bang Tourbillon Power Reserve 5 days which they crafted from red sapphire. This gives the watch a completely different look, also because the bridges and main plate of it are also made from this material. Complemented by a rubber strap in the same color it turns the watch into a true technical eyecatcher, as Hublot is the only brand capable of creating a sapphire crystal cased watch in this color.

The new Big Bang Tourbillon Power Reserve 5 days wasn’t the only news in regard to sapphire watches. Hublot also released an entirely new color; yellow! It was highlighted by the tonneau case of the Spirit of Big Bang and has an undeniable summer vibe to it! Hublot amplifies this even further by giving the watch yellow hands and markers on the dial as well as a matching rubber strap. By opting for a black crown, pushers as well as the screws on the bezel, they unite them visibly with the movement and create a very harmonious piece in which the yellow sapphire gets all the room to shine.

Hublot also introduced a new version of the Big Bang Unico Golf. It now features a case made from blue Texalium. This ultra-light and very strong material is proprietary to Hublot, and a mixture of carbon fibre with aluminium. Combined with a blue strap does it give one of the very few golf-counter watches still available a new look.

With these new watches does Hublot kick-off the new year once again with its full and innovative force. Those familiar with the brand also know that this is only a mere promise of things to come, later in 2019!
