We’d been waiting for ours ever since we heard about it at the SIHH in January. London got theirs in April, and now we finally have ours too, at the Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique in Paris.

The Atelier Reverso was inaugurated last Thursday night June 23rd at N° 7 Place Vendôme amid a festive gathering of friends, clients, and other admirers of haute fashion and watchmaking eager to discover the secrets of customizing their Reverso from a selection of dials, straps, and engravings on the back.

Surrounded by colourful dial samples and straps (in calfskin, alligator leather, ostrich and satin), top models, performing artists, couture designers, Miss France and other fashionistas tried their hand at creating their own Reverso watches on a digital table in a party ambiance befitting this important anniversary — the iconic timepiece is 85 this year!

Jaeger-LeCoultre already offered the possibility to engrave the back of the Reverso as well as change the strap, on the solid-back Reverso Classic and One collections. Taking this experience even further, owners of the Duo and Duetto models of the Reverso Classic collection can now choose the design of their back dial, in versions made of stone or adorned with an ivy motif, with a large choice of rich colours.

On limited editions of the Reverso Classic Duetto model, hour-markers and dial centres can be gem-set, while on the Reverso Classic Large Duo watch (with brushed and guilloché front dial with 24-hour day/night indicator at 6 o’clock) the second dial with local time can now be selected in an intense dark blue or a sophisticated burgundy and a choice of three different stone versions.

For even more exclusive customization, and for one year only, Special Guest Star Christian Louboutin has created 7 of his own personalized dials and more than 10 straps.

Prices range from 4,135 to 39,000 Euros with cases in stainless still and pink gold.
Delivery time is approximately 8 weeks.

Following London and Paris, the Atelier Reverso should arrive in Geneva and Hong Kong during the summer, followed by New York, Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai, Ginza, Sao Paulo and Rome.

And for those of you too impatient to wait, here is a video to show you how it works!
