Haute Time’s Five Favorite Ladies Watches From Baselworld

While  the main focus at Baselworld is still the men’s watches, many incredible ladies watches have been introduced as well. They range from functional, elegant every day watches to elaborate Haute Joaillerie creations and everything in between. Selecting a top five among them is quite a challenge, but one we always like to tackle.

Hublot One Click Italia Independent
A lot of ladies watches combine practicality with beauty, such as the Hublot One Click Italia Independent. On one side it is a robust watch, designed to wear daily, yet with elegant details such as the diamond set bezel and hour markers. For this watch Hublot collaborated with Italia Independent, who’s signature is clearly visible in the velvet dial, and the unique velvet and rubber strap. The case is black ceramic, and the watch is powered by an automatic manufacture movement.

Breguet Tradition Dame 7038
Ladies are becoming increasingly more interested in the inner workings of their mechanical watch, and the Tradition Dame 7038 by Breguet plays into that with elegance. The 18K rose gold case is set with a diamond bezel, and the dial is made out of mother-of-pearl. A Beautiful detail is that it still carries the traditional engine turned motive which is one of Breguet’s hallmarks. While the watch has a classic look to it, the movement is state of the art with retrograde seconds hand and a Breguet balance spring in silicon.

By combining several different crafts, Dior has created a collection of eight watches which feature small “gardens” on the dial. Made by combining different precious stones, gold and mother-of-pearl they create a flower inspired landscape on the dial that simply takes your breath away.
