Haute Time Presents Patrik P. Hoffmann, CEO of Ulysse Nardin at the U.S. Headquarters: Part 2

Yesterday, Haute Time shared Part 1 of our meeting with Patrik P. Hoffmann, CEO of Ulysse Nardin at the company’s United States headquarters.

After touring the beautiful headquarters and taking a look at some of the brand’s standout timepieces from Basel World, Mr. Hoffmann shared how the company is involved with the local community. Ulysse Nardin recently founded the the Rolf Schneider Foundation, after the passing of Ulysse Nardin Chief Rolf Schneider. Schneider was very involved in the welfare of children and in honor of his legacy, Ulysse Nardin has partnered up with Rick Case and the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County. In the next couple of weeks, Ulysse Nardin will also announce a new partnership with a former baseball player in which they will work together on various charity ventures involving children.

Ulysse Nardin recently opened its second boutique in Aventura, Florida. The reasoning of opening a second boutique in South Florida, in addition to being near the headquarters, is that the Sunshine State is one of the biggest markets for luxury timepieces in the United States. Ulysse Nardin also has a big following in South America and the close proximity to that market makes it ideal. Ulysse Nardin also has a large local community of supporters and a strong partnership with East Coast Jewelry. The next spot Ulysse Nardin has its sights set on is New York City, though only time will tell if that comes to fruition.

Hoffmann ended our meeting with a tease, hinting that the brand will unveil something brand new this fall. Though he was mum on the details, he said it would be completely unique, in-house designed and produced and something that “will make a sound.”

Haute Time wait to see what Ulysse Nardin has in store!
