Louis Vuitton is known as a brand that doesn’t accept any compromises. This is what made it propel itself to the top of the luxury world, becoming the benchmark to which all others are measured. The brand shows the same dedication in its timepiece collection. Here timeless style and refined movements go hand in hand with wearing comfort and user-friendliness. The Tambour Curve GMT Flying Tourbillon is the perfect example of this, by housing within the smooth lines of the iconic Tambour case, a most exquisite movement.

Caliber LV 82 is made in Louis Vuitton’s La Fabrique du Temps, where it was also developed. It consists out of 201 components and is fitted with a one-minute tourbillon, located at the 9 o’clock position. The tourbillon carriage is crafted in a V-shape as a reference to Gaston Vuitton. The Tambour Curve GMT Flying Tourbillon has a generous power reserve of 65-hours and boasts a rather technical finish that perfectly matches the smooth lines of the Tambour case. Opposite of the flying tourbillon, there is a subdial displaying a second time zone. This can easily be adjusted, forwards and backward, by the two pushers on the side of the case.

Louis Vuitton is offering the Tambour Curve GMT Flying Tourbillon in three different versions. The first is perhaps also the most high-tech-looking one, as it is crafted entirely from titanium. For those who want a dash of luxury added to it, does Louis Vuitton also make a version in which the lug-insert and pushers are made from pink gold. Here we also see that the base of the dial features this precious metal, shining through the black perforated grid on top. The third version is similar to the first, as it is crafted entirely from titanium, yet here the base of the dial is formed by a thin slice of meteorite. This is carved from the Gibeon meteorite that landed in Namibia, while the hour markers are now set with diamonds, making the Tambour Curve GMT Flying Tourbillon even more exclusive. All three watches allow you to travel in the modern, uncompromising style that became a Louis Vuitton hallmark, while indulging yourself with a refined and highly complex haute horlogerie movement.
