Green was the dominant color on the catwalks this year, and naturally it showed up at watch fairs too. Several high-end brands used subtle variations of green in their designs to highlight special functions and make their dials pop.
Linde Werdelin’s SpidoSpeed Green The SpidoSpeed Green showcases skeletonization not only throughout the outer case as with previous iterations in the Spido family, but also into the dial and movement. What makes this piece unique is the balance of its design. The rugged forged carbon outer case compliments finer details, such as the LW-shaped stylized rotor, and pusher level engraving on the inner case. Turn it around and you’ll spot Linde Werdelin’s new signature pattern on the movement plate. Make sure to also check out the Spidolite II Tech Green.Pricing: Between $20,000 and $25,000. HYT’s H2 Black DLC & Pink Gold HYT earns its place in the sphere of high-end watchmaking by continuing its all-encompassing quest for hybridization with the H2. A system of bellows in the movement powers the ring of luminescent green liquid to indicate the hours. In the centre, a minute hand, designed in stages to perfectly fit the structure of the fluidic system jumps after 30 minutes to avoid the bellows. To achieve this, HYT’s hydro mechanical experts partnered with the APRP team (Audemars Piguet Renaud et Papi), overseen by Giulio Papi.Launches this summer.
