On December 11, luxury watchmakers Girard-Perregaux welcomed a star-studded crowd to the Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall to toast renowned celebrity photographers Markus and Indrani. The duo celebrated the launch of their book Icons, and their new exhibition by the same name.

Girard-Perregaux, a longtime supporter of the arts, fêted Markus and Indrani (who this year celebrate an 18-year partnership) with the help of several notables, including Fern Mallis, David Evangelista and Tammy Blanchard. The stars of the night were spotted wearing their own stunning Girard-Perregaux timepieces; a 1966 Equation of Time on Markus and a 1966 jewelry watch with a diamond pave dial on Indrani. Meanwhile, actress Tammy Blanchard was seen sporting a Girard-Perregaux WW.TC watch. Guests had the chance to admire the newest Girard-Perregaux collections while taking in Markus and Indrani’s portraits of everyone from Lady Gaga to Kate Winslet and Will Smith.

It has been an outstanding year for Girard-Perregaux’s partnership with the arts; the company also recently announced a partnership with the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures (an offshoot of the governing body behind the Oscars). “Girard-Perregaux stands for beauty, passion and craftsmanship”, said Markus Klinko. “We are looking forward to capturing their essence and unparalleled approach to luxury watchmaking”.
