And the winner is: Chopard! Earlier this month, the British actor was named British GQ magazine’s best dressed man, and the 32-year old showed why he was a worthy winner on the Golden Globes 2015 red carpet.

Wearing an all-black Gucci suit and a Chopard Classic Manufacture watch, Eddie Redmayne picked up a Golden Globes award for Best Actor in a Drama for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in ‘The Theory of Everything.’

Redmayne faced tough competition for the prize, against established actors Steve Carell (Foxcatcher), Jake Gyllenhaal (Nightcrawler) and fellow Brits Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game) and David Oyelowo (Selma).

Receiving the award Eddie Redmayne thanked his wife Hannah Bagshawe. The two, who married last month reportedly interrupted their honeymoon, according to an apologetic Redmayne: “I promised her sunshine – it wasn’t so great today – but thanks for giving us a honeymoon we’ll remember”. Redmayne also paid tribute to Professor Hawking, and said co-star Felicity Jones was a “formidable actress,” who helped raise his game.

The ‘Theory Of Everything’ had much to celebrate ahead of the Academy Awards, as it also won Best Score for Jóhann Jóhannsson’s composition.
