Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is The Oktopus Moon Tattoo by Linde Werdelin.

The most recent addition to Linde Werdelin’s dive watch series is an amazing expression of the brands creativity and watchmaking skill. The case of the Oktopus Moon Tattoo is solid 18k rose gold and features a beautiful hand engraved octopus and a black ceramic bezel. Titanium is used to protect the movement and dial from water, along with the sealed DLC screw in case back which also features hand engravings.

At the heart of this timepiece, an in-house moon-phase complication displaying mesmerizing moon-phases on the dial by drawing and printing them on a pierced disc. As the monthly moon cycle changes, so does the dial of the Oktopus illuminating more of the surface is illuminated on the dial, showing the moon-phase. The diamond-cut hands mark the hours, minutes and seconds on the dial along with luminous indexes which are very easy to read.

The Oktopus Moon Tattoo is part of a Limited Series of 59 pieces created by Linde Werdelin. These special pieces are available at authorized Linde Werdelin retailers beginning in November 2013.
