Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is the beautiful Rose Gold version of the Zeitwerk Striking Time by A. Lange & Söhne.

Dubbed the world’s first mechanical watch with a jumping numerals display and a a visible chiming mechanism, The Zeitwerk Striking Time is complete with hours and minutes with jumping numerals functions in addition to the the acoustic chimes that sound every 15 minutes and every hour.

Visible on the stunning dial, sub-seconds with stop seconds on the lower portion of dial and a power reserve indicator measuring up to 36 hours of power, at the upper portion of the dial. The jumping hours are displayed in the window at 9 o’clock and minutes displayed in the window positioned at 3 o’clock, creating an attractive balance to the dial.

The case is 44.2mm and is done in 18k rose gold and houses an A. Lange & Söhne manufacture L043.2 movement. Fitted with a brown alligator strap and rose gold buckle, the A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Striking Time is a certainly a stand out piece.
