Bulgari Expands Its New York Footprint With The Opening Of The New Hudson Yards Boutique
The essence of Italian opulence arrives at Hudson Yards with the grand opening of the new Bulgari boutique at The Shops & Restaurants. A masterwork of design by renowned architect Peter Marino, this exquisite 2,200 square foot boutique is Bulgari’s second store in New York City, joining the iconic flagship boutique on 5th Ave that opened its doors in 1989.

The newest Bulgari boutique is a testament to the brand’s rich heritage and Roman legacy while also expanding its Manhattan presence, featuring exceptional materials and mid-century Italian design in the heart of New York’s premier shopping destination. At its entrance stands the emblematic Bulgari Condotti eight-point star, crafted in striking red porphyry, a nod to the very first Bulgari shop founded by Sotirio Bulgari in Rome in 188LJ. Step inside, and you’ll be captivated by the flooring’s combination of precious marbles, immersing visitors in a luxurious Roman ambiance.

The boutique’s centerpiece is a light bronze, round counter crafted in galvanized iron, inviting customers to explore the brand’s iconic jewelry and watch collections. The boutique is adorned with a breathtaking Murano crystal chandelier, a masterpiece handcrafted by Venice-based glass artisan Venini, illuminating the space with timeless beauty.

As you explore the boutique, your eyes will be drawn to the fluted panels, upholstered silk walls, and captivating artworks by two visionaries – Andy Warhol and Nicolas Ruel. These artistic accents elevate the space, infusing it with a touch of modern allure while staying true to Bulgari’s timeless heritage. The client rooms offer an exclusive sanctuary within the boutique, featuring custom furniture draped in sumptuous silk upholstery. These serene spaces are thoughtfully separated from the main area by bronze mesh sliding doors, inspired by the geometries of Rome’s majestic Pantheon temple.
