After shooting matching rounds of 64 with Dustin Johnson over the weekend, Watson came from four shots back on the final day to win the tournament. He played the final 39 holes without a single bogey and posted fifteen birdies, leading him to his 5th career title.

Throughout the tournament, which was held at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California, Watson wore his Tourbillon RM 038 Bubba Watson Victory Watch.

Part of a four-piece limited edition, this piece features an embellished green flange, a nod to the green Masters jacket that Watson earned at Augusta in 2012 (and Watson’s favorite color). It also features Watson’s signature engraved on the sapphire crystal caseback.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this four-piece limited edition went to “Bubba & Friends Drive to a Million” objective, which donated $250,000 to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital for the construction of a pediatric facility. Number 4 is worn by Watson himself.

Watson has been a partner of Richard Mille’s since 2010. Following the success of the Tourbillon RM 038 Bubba Watson Victory Watch, the manufacture created the new RM 38-01 G-Sensor Bubba Watson, which combines a patented G-sensor with a tourbillon.

The mechanical G-sensor, a Richard Mille world first, allows the wearer to measure the accumulated motion of their swing in G’s, an important insight for golfers like Watson, who is famous for 310 km/h swing. The sensor is featured at 12 o’clock on the dial, and is activated via the pushpiece at 9 o’clock. Only 50 pieces of this piece, which features a unique green case, will be produced.
