Bremont created a concept test instrument for the MB Viper’s manufactured movement series, the ENG300. The concept instrument put the watch through the most extreme testing environment, equaling that of fighter ejection seat technology. The luxury British watchmaker joined forces with renowned British aviation company, Martin-Baker.
The two British companies were so fascinated with the test instrument they decided to launch it in its own right. The limited edition MB Viper was born from this collaboration.
The lightweight model is crafted from titanium and anodized aluminum. In order to understand the performance potential of Bremont’s ENG300 movement, the British watchmaker used the same rigorous schedule of environment testing conditions that Martin-Baker deploys across its suite of fighter ejection seats.

Developing this concept model into a limited edition timepiece will surely appeal to collectors interested in something unique backed by elite testing credibility. The MB Viper is the first timepiece in Bremont’s Martin-Baker line to include an ENG300 movement. The 43.5mm matte DLC Grade 5 titanium case employs a protective carbon coating and features an anodized 6082 aluminum case middle.
The MB Viper represents what Bremont has achieved in its design, engineering and manufacture. The exclusive watch is limited to 300 pieces with a retail price of $5,995 USD.

The Avro Vulcan was a jet powered, tail-less, delta-wing, high altitude strategic bomber, operated by the Royal Air Force (RAF) from 1956 until 1984. It is one of the most iconic aircrafts in the RAF’s history.
Limited to only 250 pieces, the 42mm Vulcan forms part of Bremont’s Armed Forces Collection, a series of timepieces born out of a partnership with the British Ministry of Defense. The Vulcan is specifically modeled on the base architecture of the Arrow, a watch within the collection inspired by the Royal Air Force.
While retaining some of Bremont’s core design codes, the new chronograph weaves in subtle details synonymous with the historic aircraft. The Vulcan’s matte black dial features a running seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock with a two-tone 3-D camouflage design, and the elapsed minutes 3 o’clock counter features a nuclear symbol indicating the arsenal carried onboard. A date function is situated at 6 o’clock.

Bremont has introduced elegant, skeletonized, cathedral minute and hour hands for the first time. These are complemented by a striking RAF blue chronograph hand. These distinctive design details took inspiration from the Cold War clocks fitted in the Vulcan cockpit.
The enclosed stainless steel case back is decorated with an engraving of the Avro B-1 Bomber and the heraldic badge of the Royal Air Force encircled with an inscription, “Approved by Her Majesty’s Armed Forces,” given that this timepiece was designed and approved by the MOD under Her Majesty’s Reign. Once the crests of His Majesty’s Armed Forces have been decreed, all case backs within Bremont’s Armed Forces Collection will be updated accordingly.

The limited edition Vulcan features a 56-hour power reserve and chronograph functionality operated by a pusher at 2 o’clock which starts, stops, and resets the stopwatch on the chronometer rated BE-51AE movement, a necessity for any timed mission.
Together, the MB Viper and the Vulcan demonstrate the rich ties Bremont carries with aviation and the RAF.
