Last week, the Novak Djokovic Foundation held its first-ever fundraising dinner in New York. Days after the US Open, Honorary Chair and Audemars Piguet Brand Ambassador Novak Djokovic hosted the event and dinner with a live auction and special performance by Theophilus London.

The evening rased $1.4 million and was attended by guests including Vogue’s Anna Wintour, Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger & Dee Hilfiger, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, Princess Beatrice of York, Karlie Kloss, and John McEnroe. Also there was model Anja Rubik who helped to auction off a stainless steel Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph that sold for $50,000. This one-of-a-kind piece was engraved with Novak Djokovic’s signature on the caseback.

Inspired by his role as an ambassador for UNICEF, Djokovic founded the Novak Djokovic Foundation in 2007, which enables children from disadvantaged communities to grow up, play and develop in stimulating, creative and safe environments, with strategic community facility planning, development and financing, while installing respect and consideration for their surroundings.
