Luxe Brazilian company, Embraer, recently unveiled the new Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 as the sequel models to the company’s Legacy 450 and Legacy 500. The two new luxury private jets are priced at $17 million for the smaller 500 model and $21 million for the 600 model. Both the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 represent the company’s newest venture into the midsize and super-midsize private jet market.

The Praetor 600 will feature a “Bossa Nova” cabin designed by Jay Beever. The design is inspired by Brazil’s tropic beaches and includes wool and silk carpets and seat patterns inspired by the walkways of Rio De Janeiro’s Ipanema beach. The super-midsized private jet will seat eight to twelve passengers with retractable carbon fiber tables, perfect for in-flight dining.

In a press statement, CEO of Embraer Michael Amalfitano said, “The Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 are the disruptive aircraft for the entrepreneur, pioneer and innovator.”
