Rolex Is Launching A Wide Array Of New Watches For 2020

With Rolex, the revolution is always an evolution. It what the brand does best and has made it a gold standard within the world of luxury goods. The Covid-19 pandemic made it unsure if Rolex would introduce any new models in 2020, but fortunately, they did, and they are phenomenal.

The biggest news is the completely revised Oyster Perpetual collection. Rolex is now offering it in a 41mm diameter, powered by caliber 3230. The brand presents this watch with a black dial with sunray-finish and white gold hands and hour markers but also in a more classic configuration of a silver sunray dial with yellow gold hands and hour markers. For the Oyster Perpetual 36, which is also equipped with caliber 3230, Rolex introduces no less than five different colored lacquered dials. The colors candy pink, turquoise blue, yellow, coral red, and green, give each the watch a character of its own. Four of these colors, but not the candy pink, will also be available in the 41mm variety, while the black and silver dial of the 41mm model can also be ordered in the 36mm large model.

For the Submariner collection, there are also subtle yet significant changes. The Oyster Perpetual Submariner and Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date were redesigned and now feature a larger, 41mm case as well as a new bracelet. As a result, it looks better proportioned. For both models, there are also new movements. The Oyster Perpetual Submariner is fitted with the new caliber 3230, while the Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date is equipped with caliber 3235. Next to these two traditional black models is Rolex also offering the new Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date with a green Cerachrom bezel insert. There is also a Rolesor variety. This is a bold combination of Oystersteel, yellow gold, and a stunning blue dial and Cerachrom bezel insert. Then there are the top of the line models which all feature a gold case with matching gold bracelet. In yellow gold, is it available with a blue or black dial with matching Cerachrom bezel insert. Most eyecatching is perhaps the white gold model, which combines a black dial with a blue Cerachrom bezel insert.

The news for the Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller is the Oysterflex bracelet replaces the leather straps. It is the very first time that this innovative and sportive bracelet makes an appearance in this collection. It gives the watch a completely different look and offers quite a dynamic contrast with the gold cases. While the leather straps where nice, this underscores perhaps better the true nature of the Sky-Dweller, as a watch for individuals with a very active lifestyle.
