Haute Time’s Favorite Power Reserve Watches

A handy reminder when to wind your watch is the power reserve indicator. Especially when the watch is manual wind, you will appreciate this feature. But apart from its practical use, the power reserve indicator is also a mesmerizing complication on its own, whether you see it slowly run down during the course of the day, or when going up when you are winding your watch. These are some of Haute Time’s favorite watches with a power reserve.

A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Up/Down
There is something about the symmetry of the dial of the A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Up/Down that is simply captivating. It has a cleaner dial then its more complicated siblings, yet is not as classical as the time-only 1815. It also serves a symbolical reminder to that stunning caliber L051.2 that powers this watch.

Hublot MP-07 40 Days Power Reserve
One of the reasons why we love the MP-07 by Hublot is because it has a power reserve indicator that shows an unreal 40 days! Thanks to nine(!) series coupled main spring barrels, this watch can go more than a month without winding. As icing on the cake is it also fitted with a suspended vertical tourbillon.

MB&F Legacy Machine LM1 Silberstein
Whenever MB&F joins forces with Alain Silberstein, you know that something special is about to happen. Silberstein gave the Legacy Machine 1 an overhaul with his signature colors and shapes. This included the unique, vertical power reserve indicator, which is one of the reasons we cannot get enough of this watch.
