Audemars Piguet, Swiss manufacturers of exceptional luxury watches since 1875, have continued their tradition of precision watches with the latest incarnation of their Royal Oak line. The Grande Complication Royal Oak Offshore Titane is the newest of this iconic model, which was first released in 1993 and is considered to be the ultimate sports watch.

This year’s version of the Royal Oak Offshore has something that will be blowing the competition out of the water; it is equipped with a movement that incorporates some of the most incredible mechanical developments ever created in the watch-making tradition. The 44mm diameter titanium and ceramic timepiece is equipped with a rubber strap and is powerful yet subtle in design.  In addition to the standard time display, the watch can be used for timekeeping operations and can also read intermediate or “split” times because it has a split-second complication.   A perpetual calendar complication is also visible, and lunar cycles are also displayed.

Further technical features of the Royal Oak Offshore Grande Complication are Caliber 2885 movement that is self-winding, a power reserve of 45 hours, and a cadence of balance of 19.800 vibrations per hour.

With its Grande Complication movement, the watch also has a column-wheel chronograph mechanism, metalized sapphire moon-phase indicators, and customizable oscillating weight.   Hand finished details such as the rounded-off and polished bevels and satin-brushed flanks give this “ultimate sports watch” the touches of elegance and sturdy refinement that Audemars Piguet is known for.  Each watch is made individually by one single craftsman who will put in over 700 hours of time crafting one of the finest timepieces available.
