H. Moser & Cie. has once again captivated the horological world with the highly anticipated return of the Streamliner Centre Seconds Matrix Green, affectionately dubbed the “Green Dragon” by enthusiasts. This iconic piece, originally released in 2020, quickly garnered acclaim for its innovative design and exceptional craftsmanship. Now, the revered timepiece is making a grand comeback, accompanied by a new reference featuring a mesmerizing “Purple Haze” dial.

The Streamliner Centre Seconds epitomizes the brand’s commitment to merging traditional watchmaking with contemporary aesthetics. At the heart of this masterpiece lies the new self-winding caliber HMC 201, an evolution from its predecessor, the HMC 200. This updated movement boasts partially skeletonized bridges, offering a wider view of the mechanism and showcasing the intricate gear train, central seconds, and bi-directional automatic winding system. The movement’s anthracite grey finish adds a touch of modernity, while the beveled rotor ensures an unobstructed view, maintaining a power reserve of at least three days.

The watch’s design is a testament to H. Moser & Cie’s expertise in achieving balanced, precise proportions. The cushion-shaped steel case, with a diameter of 40.0 mm and water resistance up to 12 ATM, features hollowed and satin-finished forms on the sides, complemented by alternating brushed and polished surfaces. The slightly domed sapphire crystal, mirrored by the see-through case back, enhances the watch’s harmonious lines. The integrated steel bracelet, a marvel of engineering, features articulated links with a gentle wave design, combining vertical brushed finishes with polished surfaces, ensuring both sophistication and comfort.

The dial of the Streamliner Centre Seconds is where the magic truly happens. The Matrix Green fumé dial, with its vibrant, electric hues ranging from olive green to red gold, creates a captivating visual experience. This iconic colorway is joined by the new “Purple Haze” dial, an intense purple with blue reflections, adding a fresh dimension to the collection. Both dials feature the H. Moser & Cie. logo in transparent lacquer, a subtle yet distinctive signature. The 3D hands, formed of two sections with Globolight® inserts, a ceramic-based material infused with Super-LumiNova®, ensure readability and elegance.
