What To Expect From The First-Ever Watch Week Aspen

This summer, a new town has been added to the watch industry’s repertoire as the inaugural Watch Week Aspen, organized by Oliver Smith Jeweler and the Aspen Chamber of Commerce, is set to take place this August. This exclusive event, from August 8th – 11th, hosted by renowned watch retailers and brands, promises an immersive experience in horological marvels.

Watch Week Aspen will be held in downtown Aspen, spanning various participating retail locations. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the charm and luxury of Aspen while engaging with a carefully curated selection of timepieces and events. The week will offer a series of exclusive events designed for discerning watch connoisseurs like intimate brand showcases, educational panels, cocktail parties, and more. Events will take place at respective boutiques throughout the town, like Cocktails and Complications at the A. Lange & Söhne boutique and the Panerai Apertivo at their Aspen Boutique on East Hyman as well as bespoke events like e-biking through the Maroon Bells with Bremont and a deep dive into the pre-owned watch market in 2024.

Overall, the new Watch Week event emphasizes the importance of expanding knowledge and fostering connections within the horological community. So far, there are 16 brands participating, ranging from retailers and jewelers, to watch brands including A. Lange & Söhne, Arnold & Son, Audemars Piguet, Bremont, Buccellati, Betteridge, Gerald Charles, IWC, Meridian Jewelers, Moritz Grossman, M.S. Rau, Norqain, Oliver Smith Jeweler, Parmigiani Fleurier, Panerai, and Roger Dubuis.
