As I sit here, taking in all of the newness of the 2024 Watches & Wonders, I have to admit that 2024 has ushered in a lot of anniversaries and milestones for the watchmakers. For Vacheron Constantin, 2024 marks twenty years of the Patrimony. And to celebrate two decades of the collection, they have released three new models today in Geneva.

Vacheron Constantin’s latest offering in the Patrimony collection is a testament to the brand’s ability to evolve while remaining deeply rooted in its heritage. Celebrating twenty years of minimalist modernity, Watches and Wonders 2024 sees the unveiling of three new models under the Patrimony banner, featuring new dial and strap colors, a customizable caseback, and a refined 39 mm diameter for the manual-winding models. This evolution is a nod to the quintessential craftsmanship and aesthetic of the 1950s, a period from which Vacheron Constantin still draws significant inspiration today.

The collection has been synonymous with elegance and simplicity, embodying the perfect balance between rounded curves and taut lines. The new manual-winding models are available in white gold or pink gold and feature an antique silver-toned dial, alongside the option for personalized engraving on the closed caseback. This offers owners a unique opportunity to add a personal touch to their timepiece, further enhancing its sentimental value. The addition of azure blue or olive-green straps introduces a contemporary twist to the collection’s naturally understated nature.

Precision remains paramount, with the manual-winding Calibre 1440 at the heart, signifying Vacheron Constantin’s commitment to technical excellence. The moon phase retrograde date model enriches the collection further, offering a harmonious blend of technical prowess and aesthetic appeal. Its old-silver-toned dial contrasts beautifully against the pink gold hands, encapsulating the essence of timeless understatement.

Each piece from the Patrimony collection, whether it’s the manual-winding models or the moon phase retrograde date watch, serves as a bridge between the past and present, offering wearers not just a timepiece, but a piece of history reimagined for today’s world. Through the 2024 theme, Vacheron Constantin continues to explore the interplay between geometry and artistry, proving once again that a watch can indeed be more than the sum of its parts.
