Hamilton collaborated with IWC Schaffhausen’s designers in creating the timepiece. The special design, of which there are only to 100 watches available, combines a black ceramic case and a Bordeaux-red dial with a crown and a case-back ring made of 18-carat 5N gold. The watch has a diameter of 46.5 millimeters. The textile strap is also colored in Bordeaux-red.

Yesterday, Hublot released the new Classic Fusion Cruz-Diez during Miami Art Basel. Franco-Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz-Diez's signature play of colors and color combinations has been immortalized in the new timepiece. Evoking the motions and emotions found in the late artist's most famous works, the watch was unveiled at the Espace Expression gallery in Miami with his family in attendance.

A great example of this is the chronograph, where brands continue to find new ways to take it to the next level. 2019 was a year in which chronographs broke records and celebrated anniversaries, as it has been 50 years since the very first automatic chronographs hit the market. The moon has always had a great attraction to humankind. So when the first clocks where developed, displaying the moon phase was among the first complications that where added. It went the same with the pocket watch, and even on the wristwatch, the moon phase indicator made an early entrance. The majority of these watches utilize a disc on which two moons are displayed and which is shown behind a window on the dial. But some watches are different and show the heavenly body closest to earth in its three-dimensional fashion.
