The Salon des Grandes Complications Returns To Dubai

The Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry FH Endorses The Salon des Grandes Complications

Thirteen exhibiting brands: A. Lange & Söhne, Arnold & Son, Bulgari, Cartier, Chopard, Girard-Perregaux, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Kerbedanz, Panerai, Roger Dubuis, Vacheron Constantin, Vianney Halter and Voutilainen get ready to display their novelties, masterpieces, and watchmaking expertise through live demonstrations with master watchmakers at the 2nd edition of the Salon des Grandes Complications, set to open its doors in Dubai from November 16 – 19.

The Salon (separate from the Dubai Watch Week in October) will occupy a larger space this year to accommodate the increased number of brands: those returning from last year’s edition, and new brands eager to be part of this first platform in the region where industry leaders, recognised collectors and aficionados can mingle, discuss, and exchange horological knowledge and ideas.

In recognition of last year’s first successful edition, and for the first time endorsing a “home-grown” event in the UAE, the private, professional and non-profit Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry FH, representing over 90% of all Swiss watch manufactures, will be on hand to showcase the rich history and traditions of fine Swiss watchmaking with its thematic exhibition Think Time Think Swiss Excellence.

The Salon des Grandes Complications culminates this year with the Watch of the Year Awards at a gala dinner on November 19, a regional event now in its 11th year, designed to recognize brands for their contribution to the industry and decided by a distinguished panel of experts.

Where: Entrance of the Dubai International Financial Centre – DIFC Building 5 (same street as the Ritz-Carlton)

When: November 16 – 19 from 12pm to 9pm daily.
