Miami HEAT: 2012 NBA Champions, Celebrate with Hublot
“You know, my dream has become a reality now, and it’s the best feeling I ever had.”- LeBron James
After a tumultuous start and harsh criticism, the Miami HEAT has finally proven not only their collective talent as a team, but that they are in fact the best team in the NBA. And at last, LeBron James has earned his much-deserved championship ring.
And what was the first thing that crossed James’ mind when he knew he’d finally won? “It’s about damn time,” James said. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
The energy in the American Airlines Arena last night was magnetic; HEAT fans are by far the most passionate of fans, likely due to the Latin blood running through most of our veins here in Miami. And predictions were unanimous since the start of the game; we all knew that our team would take the series on our home court and silence disapproving critics once and for all.
Post-game, the players celebrated with an all-out celebration at LIV at the Fontainebleau hotel. There, the HEAT’s resident DJ Irie took to the turntables and mic, firing up the massive crowd of HEAT fans and paying respect to Miami HEAT owner Micky Arison, who was also present for the festivities. Miami HEAT President Pat Riley opted for a more low-key celebration, dining at Prime 112 with his wife and former HEAT player Tim Hardaway.
And we can only imagine the influx of HEAT fans scouring for Hublot’s King Power Miami HEAT limited-edition 48mm timepieces. The 18-carat gold watch with a black skeleton dial and black rubber strap can be yours for a cool $42,400. Get it while you can at the brand’s Bal Harbour boutique.
