Haute Time Challenges You To #BWChallenge

Haute Time Challenges You To #BWChallenge

Arthur Touchot
By Arthur Touchot December 2, 2014

Haute Time UK is currently participating in the #BWChallenge on Instagram. The goal of the competition is to break with tradition, and start posting pictures in black and white. Marcus Watches (@marcuswatches) were the first to nominate Haute Time. As a result, @hautetimeuk has to post five black and white pictures, in the same number of days, and challenge as many instagram accounts to do the same. So far, we’ve been amazed at the beauty of the photos shared by all those in competition, and we’d love to encourage all of our readers to participate, using the #BWChallenge hashtag. Please make sure to also add #HauteTimeBW so we can follow your submissions!

Above is our Day 2 submission, the A. Lange & Sohne Datograph Up/Down. It’s a monochromatic watch, featuring an impressive black dial that looks just as great in person as it does in our black and white picture. Here is the same shot in color just for comparison’s sake. Note the watch sub-dials with blued steel hands.

The Datograph platinum case measures 41mm and features a sapphire case back exposing the impressive Manufacture Calibre L951.6 movement. The Datograph Up/Down is equipped with a 60 hour power reserve, clearly displayed on the dial along with another aperture for the date display.
