Audemars Piguet Launches New Royal Oak Offshore 42mm Collection In London
Francois Henry Bennahmias, CEO of the family-owned Swiss watch manufacture Audemars Piguet hosted a celebratory evening last week to mark the launch of the new Royal Oak Offshore 42mm timepieces collection with a party at Victoria House, Bloomsbury.
Guests were treated to an evening of entertainment and an array of special digital features. Brand friend Tinie Tempah perfomed an exclusive and intimate set for Audemars Piguet guests including some of his top hits; Earthquake, Written in the Stars, Drinking FromThe Bottle and Pass Out. VIP attendees also included; Oswald Boetang, Julian McDonald, Natalie Pinkham, and Reggie Yates.
The new collection, available in stainless steel or 18-carat pink gold, is distinguished by a more technical, sculpted aesthetic, as is notably visible in the resized design of the ceramic pushpieces, their guards and the ceramic crown. While every dial is decorated with the Royal Oak Offshore distinctive waffle-like “Mega-Tapisserie” pattern, new facetted hands with polished fillets around the markers, counters and date window together with luminescent coating make it more radiant thus ensuring enhanced readability. The engraved 22-carat gold oscillating mass is now visible through the sapphire caseback, a window onto 140 years of horological mastery.
